The Glassy Cutworm (Apamea devastator) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found in North-eastern North America, including Nova Scotia, Alberta, New York, Ohio and Massachusetts.
This wingspan is 35-40 mm. The moth flies from May to September depending on the location.
The larva feed on various grasses. The larvae are subterranean and attack the roots and basal stems of their hosts.
